How to Overcome Vomitus
In dealing with vomiting, what needs to be done is to keep on trying to drink water to prevent dehydration. This applies to both children and adults. Other ways to treat vomiting include:- Avoid eating solid foods for a while until the vomiting ends.
- For pregnant women who experience morning sickness, can eat a few biscuits before getting out of bed or eating a high protein snack before going to bed.
- Vomiting associated with cancer treatment or chemotherapy is often treated with medication by a doctor.
- Get enough rest.
- Try to keep eating small portions that are spent slowly.
- If vomiting lasts more than 24 hours, consult a doctor to get proper treatment.
